Aromatics

AROMATICS, also known as arenes, is any of a large class of unsaturated chemical compounds characterized by one or more planar rings of atoms joined by covalent bonds of two different kinds.

Aromatic compounds are less reactive than alkenes, making them useful industrial solvents for nonpolar compounds.

Aromatics are highly flammable and poisonous. All handlers of solvents must fully understand and observe the "Safety Data Sheet (SDS)" and use appropriate protective gear to prevent fire and leakage.
