Base Oil

BASE OIL, lubrication grade oils, are used to manufacture products including lubricating greases, motor oil and metal processing. Base oils can be refined from crude oil (mineral base oil) or through chemical synthesis (synthesis base oil). The quality of base oils are depended on the refinement processes that have been performed. Grades are based on percentage of saturates, sulfur and viscosity index.

All handlers of solvents must fully understand and observe the "Safety Data Sheet (SDS)" for more specific health and safety information.
